Terms & conditions

These terms govern engagements with Corvus and use of corvus.build. They are summary public terms; a project-specific contract will be issued for any commercial engagement and will, where it differs from this page, take precedence.

Engagement

A Corvus survey or test programme is contracted under a written quotation. Acceptance by purchase order or written confirmation forms a binding agreement on the terms quoted.

Scope and method

Every quotation includes a method statement that defines the scope of work, the equipment, and the deliverables. Variations agreed on site are confirmed in writing within one working day.

Site access and safety

The client is responsible for safe access to the site, including PPE conditions, height-work permits, possession arrangements, and any specific induction. Corvus surveyors operate to a documented method statement and risk assessment supplied prior to attendance.

Limitations

GPR, ferro scanning, and other non-destructive techniques have inherent limitations. Findings represent the best interpretation of the data captured at the time and location surveyed. Where definitive answers are required, they should be supported by intrusive verification (for example, a pilot core).

Liability

Corvus carries professional indemnity, public liability, and employer's liability insurance to industry-standard levels. Liability for any single engagement is capped at the contract value unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Intellectual property

Survey deliverables become the property of the client on payment of the relevant invoice. Corvus retains ownership of underlying methods, calibrations, and software outputs.

Payment

Invoices are issued on completion of the report and are payable within 30 days of issue.

Cancellation

Cancellation more than 48 hours before the booked attendance: no charge. Cancellation within 48 hours: 50% of the day rate. Cancellation on the day of attendance: 100% of the day rate.
