We came out of the concrete cutting trade. Laura ran operations at a diamond drilling company, Conor drilled for 20 years, and Corvus still works alongside drilling partners. We know what a crew needs painted on the slab and what an engineer needs in the report.
We do four things: GPR concrete scanning, ferro scanning, PAS 128 utility surveys and concrete testing. We are based in Canary Wharf, on site across the UK every week, and you will deal with the same surveyors from call to report.
We call back the same working day. Findings are marked on the slab before we leave, with a signed one-page site record and photos. The written report and CAD plan follow within 5 working days, signed by the surveyor who did the work.
Terry sets the technical standards, methodology and quality framework across every Corvus survey. He brings more than 20 years in applied geophysics and subsurface data from the energy industry, where the job was turning noisy measurements into decisions people could defend. At Corvus that becomes practical: the right instrument for the question, a surveyor who can read it, and a report an engineer can quote.

Contacted Corvus to use GPR to locate concrete supports laid under a porcelain patio to anchor pergolas to. Within minutes Terry called to discuss and advised they could attend within a week, with an honest caveat that it might not be possible depending on the materials. Terry and Connor attended on the agreed date, on time, and were a pleasure to deal with, professional, polite, friendly and conscientious. The majority of the footings were not where the landscaping contractors had led us to believe, so a worthwhile exercise indeed. Would thoroughly recommend.
